Peter Faber

Residential Construction, Richmond B. C.

Dear Peter

This letter documents, and provides a letter of recommendation for your services for Construction
Management/Supervision for construction of our personal residence at 8640 Bairdmore Crescent,
Richmond B.C.

The details of the house are briefly summarized as follows:
-Approximately 4,000 square feet finished area.
-West coast style with cedar siding, river stone fireplace & planter, cedar roof and wood decks.
-High end natural interior finishes: slate tile, ceramic tile (Mexican and north American), maple
floors, granite counters, wool & sisal carpets, natural stone, granite and marble fireplaces.
-Interior inset panels for artwork.
-Difficult and complex wood framing of multi-level wood frame construction (peak, flat roofs,
gables, bay windows).
-Wood frame windows, wood doors, wood siding.

The house was constructed in 1990 and Peter Faber was responsible, as the Prime Builder, for all
components of construction.

Peter did an excellent job in the construction and in coordinating the subcontractors and design
changes throughout the six-month construction period.  As an owner managed private project,
Peter responded to the numerous requests for design modification, delays on material decisions,
etc.  The interior finishing required careful work, for example the fireplace mantle is a 6'x 12'
recycled fir beam that wraps around the two sided fireplace.   The stairway handrails are custom
milled fir beams.

I recommend Peter for high end residential construction and know that his conscientious nature
and his quest for perfection and quality construction will result in satisfaction for his future
